werner.poetzelberger Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Is there any need of a speedtree plugin? Would be great to have one !? There once was one, wasnt it? Thx. Werner
morbid Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Hello, Werner! Thanks for feedback. Currently there's no Speed Tree support. Could you please explain what you're trying to do? Maybe we can find a workaround for you? How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN
trey.coursey Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I'd be interested in Using SpeedTree models that allow Wind animations from Unigine. We can export FBX models and they come in just fine to Unigine, but wind I'm not finding a way to incorporate. I've asked elsewhere, but what is the procedure to allow wind on models, since there is a very limited amount of Vegetation in the add-on pack for full forest/landscaping/flowers etc..etc...
morbid Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Hi @trey.coursey we can't import such a thing as "wind" but we can imitate it with animation. There's an option called "Vegetation state" for mesh_base material and Filed animation object that will interact with such meshes. Please, take a look at this sample: Samples -> UnigineScript -> Fileds -> animation_01. You may find the animation inconspicuous, but changing filed animation parameters will do the thing (just open sample in Editor).
