demostenes
Particles z fight with alfa blended materials. Reproduced in esq project, latest commit, open esqworld/test.world, jump on candle node. Edited September 18, 2017 by demostenes Link to comment
silent
Hi Jirka, How to reproduce this? My current revision is 2022a3c4-8244-4333-9701-5811e2fe1e41 (25.09.2017) I've jumped to this candle, created some alpha blended objects and see no z-fightning. Maybe setting camera's near / far clipping to something like 0.1 / 100 will help in your case? This will increase Z-buffer precision a bit. Thanks! demostenes
Can you please try change set number 9 (this material is not alfa blended any more in later version)? You dont have to create anything, just look through the flame as on the picture and from some angle it starts to z fight. Link to comment
silent
Hi Jirka, That's just the common semi-transparent objects issue - you didn't specify rendering order for them, so objects are trying to render at the same time. Setting rendering order to -1 (to be rendered first) in old_catacombs_dust material or +1 on particles will solve this issue. Thanks!
