demostenes
When exporting to FBX, some nodes are not exported 1:1 as in editor. There is some shift in position. Maybe because of some scaling. Export to .mesh and than import into modelling application via old import plugin works OK. There is also error message in fbx import plugin in Maya: he FBX plug-in has detected Non-uniform scaling values. The following nodes (or their parents,) have non-standard Maya scaling inheritance (RSrs). The plug-in will re-compute their local transforms to match their correct global transforms and re-plot the transform animation frame by frame. These nodes might have interactive behavior in Maya that differs from the source application. Link to comment
silent
Hi Jirka, Is it possible to reproduce in our samples? If so, could you please provide small step-by-step guide (or just provide a small test scccene with your content where we can check that behavior)? Thanks! grmmvv
Hi,Thank you for test scene! I've added this issue to our internal bug tracker [Ed-1823].This happens because of FBX Export do not consider scale changes for objects into node reference. As a workaround, you can reset scale for "Roof_6x10_mdl" object in "Roof_6x10_woodC.node" and setup it again for "Main_6x10_brick4". After that FBX Export will work properly. Link to comment
