andrey.kirsanov
Looks very impressive. What the maximum resolution of satellite imagery supports UNIGINE 2 Sim? Is it possible to put extra "inserts" to this World Database such as airports, cities, etc? Does it support GIS data: shape files, ecw imagery? Thanks, Andrey Link to comment
binstream
There is no limit on imagery resolution. It is possible to put hi-res insets, while the data format is still in the development. As for standard data formats support: we plan to incorporate a lot of them via GDAL library in 2.3 release. Link to comment
andrey.kirsanov
Is it possible to generate the particular area? For example, I have a set of satellite/aerial imageries and DEM data. Should I use the external tools, such as: TerraVista, TerraSim, etc? Link to comment
binstream
For now it is required to use 3rd-party tools, but we are working on an integrated toolset for GIS-based databases this year. 1 Link to comment
andrey.kirsanov
I can recommend to use Quantum GIS software as a basis for the plug-in development. This open-source project integrates with a number of GIS packages and allows to create a powerful tool in short terms. Link to comment
