werner.poetzelberger
Please bring back that Material. It is pretty useful for particular things. In our actual projects we need a mirrored window. This is not doable with the reflection volume (which I like a lot). Thx. Werner Link to comment
silent
Hi Werner, Sure, that kind of material is already in our TODO list. Unfortuanately, right now it is hard to say when it will be implemented (not in 2.1 version for sure), sorry. werner.poetzelberger
Please bring that back. A realistic flat mirror is something a 3d Engine should be able to achive. thank you. Werner Link to comment
silent
Hi Werner, Don't worry, it surely will be returned in future updates :) Is that material is urgent for your current project? Thanks! werner.poetzelberger
Hey. Yes, our current project has a glass window which is mirrored and should reflect the whole scene as a core scene element. The scene is designed the way, that the surface needs to be a mirror, no transparent glass or opaque surface is possible. As it is basically 1/2 of the time visible (we have a rotating camera), it is very prominent and a key element. The mirror needs to be a perfect flat mirror (no screen space reflection or similar). We have quite some time until the projects ends, and this material can come in anytime as it doesnt hinder us production wise. But I have to be sure, that there will be a material which does that, and it will function, and also work in quality and performance terms. ... that's why I am suggesting. ;) Thx. and cheers.
