Its more GPU and concurrent friendly and cross platform and having good compability with all devices. In future OpenGL will be abandoned. https://www.khronos.org/vulkan Do you have any plan for vulcan api to move unigine? any version plan? and what will happen when khronos will close support for opengl and completely move to vulcan. Once the API will be more stable we will definitely integrate its support. As for OpenGL I believe it will be still available for years because of tons of legacy applications. Link to comment
