Hello,

so I think I proceeded with the generation of a watermesh.

 

I experienced, dropping a body into the water surfaces, it does not actually respect the actual orientation of the (here) cube, but rather keep a straight shape, following the bounding box.(?)

Hello,

We've checked two-way interaction of objects and water in the last release version and it seems to work properly.
Can you provide a small test scene?

Hi Werner,

 

I'm afraid this is how our water implementation is working now. Waves near the objects will always have square shapes. Tuning water parameters a bit can hide this artifacts with a distance.

 

We also have plans to improve water (add geometric waves. for example), but can't give you any ETA on this, sorry.

It is actually not a big thing right now. Following the correct shape would make sense I guess.
