philipp.marcks Posted January 8, 2014 Share Posted January 8, 2014 Hi!I have materials adjusted in unigine ,.. in maya same names,.. - then i export fbx from maya. when i import to unigine i toggle import materials within fbx loader and add to scene - then the whole asset has already the right materials assigned from premade unigine library, which is really awesome.the only drawback is that parameters like diffuse color, etc. get messed up.so i was wondering if there is a way to keep parameters of already existing materials.an additional toggle box in fbx-loader would be nice, if parameters of existing materials shall be affected or not.regardsPhil Link to comment
philipp.marcks Posted January 9, 2014 Author Share Posted January 9, 2014 actually as workaround it is possible to duplicate and rename .mat library, then import and then change back the original .mat file ,.. but still would be nice if wasn't necessary Link to comment
