werner.poetzelberger Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Hello, is this a bug? The triplanar mapping of a terrain material does not seem to apply if 'overlap' is selected. If 'overlay' is selected it works fine. In the images, the sand material is on overly, the gravel on overlap. Best.w.
frustum Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Yep, triplanar option is only available for overlay terrain mapping. That is because of shader complexity. You can use new decals system from upcomming SDK to hide vertical mapping artifacts.
