I downloaded the latest ev.Kit today. When trying to start the FBX plugin demo, i recieve this message (please see image attached) This error does not occur always at a specific moment, sometimes when loading the plugin. ulf.schroeter Posted March 5, 2013 Share Posted March 5, 2013 First of all you should also provide log.html file from within your <sdk-root>/bin subdirectory. Also information about your HW, OS, GPU, DX9/11 etc is required. The error message indicates some DX9/DX11 graphics initialization problems which is quite rare. maybe there are some version conflict with previous evaluation kits. Link to comment

Such type of errors is related with hardware unstability (similar gigabyte gtx680 troubles is described in this thread on nvidia forums). Please, update your driver to the latest nVidia 314.07 and try again. Thanks! Interesting enough, that it is manufacturer dependent. (gigabyte). I didnt oc my card. Thank you! ++++++++ edit: unfortunately, the error came back.If its the card, its ok, then I definitely need to change it. It definitely occured on a single as well as on a multimonitor setup. The error did not occur, as I keep all the new gui windows over the actual scene window. I ran the editor maximized, so all the menues popped up on top and I did not pull them off the window. That worked fine for me all day long. Cheers Werner Link to comment

I blame it on the FXAA, which I turned on (which also confused me about the text rendering). Error didnt occur after I turned off FXAA. B.w. Link to comment
