[SOLVED] Editor movement speed

Increasing editor camera movement speed according to size of focused (F) object. Bigger object means faster movement.

Small thing, but very, very usefull. Probably no problem to make such modification by anybody, but IMHO nice to have by default.

you also just can press "T" and go to "Camera" and adjust the camera movement speed and acceleration. Same goes for POV. those variables are also accessible from "Outside" if you need it for coding or else.

 

Focusing on a bigger object has a negative side: your camera will turn around that object even if you loose focus, so you can't turn around "yourself", you then turn around half the terrain in some cases :)

 

I just place a empty dummy node to fix this after focusing a big object.

Another tip on pivot point: you can adjust it with mouse scroll, press "G" to reset.
