alexander.zubov
It would be nice if the engine positioned also for indies, had a way to get animated and static models from Blender, which is the most widely used by indies 3D app, to Unginie. Small time indies don't have resources to buy Max / Maya (at least $3,500). That money could be spent on ZBrush and Photoshop. Link to comment
danni.coy
I think the current plan is to improve collada import to the point where it is possible to export static meshes/animations via collada to Unigine. It would be nice to have an ETA on that though. Other than that I have a basic static mesh exporter for Blender but not yet for animated meshes. https://github.com/kayosiii/blender_io_scene_unigine Link to comment
alexander.zubov
COLLADA is broken in Blender.. Every time I see their road map, they always plan on meeting about COLLADA and see what they can do about it. FBX/COLLADA is not the way to get art out from Blender to Unigine. We need native export. Blender has PSK/PSA exporter for UDK. Unigine needs one too. Link to comment
