steve3d
please take look at these artifacts, This only appears in this tree model, and, if I disable hdr, then there will be no artifacts. Why? Link to comment
frustum
This artefacts are nan or inf floating point values in the screen buffers. The main cause of this artefacts is extreme directions in the normalmap. Try to reduce the strength of normalmap textures. Link to comment
steve.brodie
We have eliminated these. I think the fix was to make sure the spec map was not colour, (or it may have been to make sure the alpha has no spec map). Link to comment
steve3d
problem still exists even when I didn't use any normalmap and/or specular map. And strange things, these black artifacts disappear when camera move close enough, when camera are far from these trees, the black artifacts appears. So I don't think it's the problem of normalmap or specularmap. Link to comment
