silent Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 Hello! Just in case you preferred the look of version 2.18.x, you can use the attached LUTs to achieve identical visuals in version 2.19.x. There were some issues with version 2.18.x that caused the picture to appear slightly desaturated, but this issue has been resolved in the new LUTs. Additionally, the new LUTs from 2.19x are more sensitive to SSHGI (screen-space haze global illumination). Attached are two sets of LUTs: one set designed for use with SSHGI and another set for use without it. In order to apply this LUTs just import these files to your project (as unchanged textures) and assign to corresponding slots in Windows -> Settings -> Environment -> Scattering LUT: 2.19.x_LUTs_visuals_from_2.18.x.zip How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN
Amerio.Stephane Posted June 6, 2025 Posted June 6, 2025 (edited) Hi, As stated in this post here It would be great to have some LUT with a more blue, more saturated sky. The realistic look of 2.19 is deemed too desaturated by our pilots, especially near the horizon where the haze feels like a heavy polluted fog (very greyish). Even 2.18 version does NOT make the trick for us. They somewhat like the 2.14/2.15 look, even if it feels a bit cartoonish. The Long Distance haze model is slightly better, but it doesn't work well with fog, so we're bound to use the physically based model.
