werner.poetzelberger
How would I subtract using a seperate Landscape Terrain layer map. I would like to strengthen some creeks for example, so make them deeper. Atm my workflow would be, that I create a seperate Terrain layer map with only the deeper creeks. But the Blending mode offers only Add or Alpha Blend. In my case worklflow, I dont hava an absolute heightmap which I can edit, so I would create a subtractive height image to use that, beeing subtracted from the existing Terrain. Or do I need to convert the image into a Int or float format using values in minus(-) and plus(+) range and then using the add mode? Hmm. One way I found is to invert the classic heightmap (as mostly whites are plus). And then remap the height in UNIGINE with a MIN of -xxx and the MAX with 0. Is this a vadlid workflow? thx. Just remap your original ".lmap" asset by playing with "min" and "max" height values and everything should went out as you need. Thanks! 1 Link to comment
