romain.janil Posted September 2, 2021 Share Posted September 2, 2021 Hi, with ObjectLandscapeTerrain and layer masks, direct mask by albedo for details doesn't seem to work for me. I've generated an objectLandscapeTerrain with sandworm with gis data for height and albedo/color, but didn't use any raster landuse mask for the moment. Debug helper on masks always show black values...Did I miss something? This was possible with "old" terrain material. thanks R Link to comment
bmyagkov Posted September 3, 2021 Share Posted September 3, 2021 Hello! Romain, indeed ObjectLandscapeTerrain requires to have a mask in terms to be able use "Mask By Albedo" feature. So, at the moment, you can use this only by prepared mask generated together with terrain in Sandworm tool. Thanks! Link to comment
romain.janil Posted September 3, 2021 Author Share Posted September 3, 2021 Hi, ok thanks, so i'm trying to experiment best approaches atm: if I put a fully white mask (all channels) with a low res pixel density (let's say 5/10mpx or more) just to enable the mask by albedo feature, would it work ? For the moment I just want to see how imagery and details blend, justly before adjusting granularity of some real landuse masks. I guess I'll try that on a small area :) R Link to comment
