dongju.jeong
Some masks disappear at short distances and are rendered from long distances. How do I solve this? Link to comment
bmyagkov
Hello! What sources do you use to generate "City" masks? Looks like there is no data for the "City" masks on detailed LODs ("short" ones) Landscape tool could not down-scale density data, only up-sclae operation are possible (make density value bigger) Here is raw example for better understanding: The project uses three masks with the following density values: grass.tif wity density 1.24 m/px(most detailed) tree.tif with density 2.49 m/px water.tif with density 2.975 m/px Masks LODs will be automatically generated with following density values: 1 LOD - density 1.24542 (no data for "tree.tif" and "water.tif") 2 LOD - density 2.49085 (no data for "water.tif" ) 3 LOD - density 4.98170 4 LOD - density 9.96330 5 LOD - density 19.92678 6 LOD - density 119.56070 Only starting from the 3 LOD masks will contain data for all used sources. To prevent such issue you need to manually configure the LODs. To do this, open the Landscape Tool, go to the Masks parameters tab and scroll down the settings, here the automatically calculated mask LOD values for your data will be displayed (move the play area to update the data window). You need to select the manual mode and enter the desired density starting from lowest detailed data, multiplying the density value for each next LOD by 2. For the example above, the values of the Lods will be as follows: 1 - density 3 m/px 2 - density 6 m/px 3 - density 12 m/px 4 - density 24 m/px 5 - density 48 m/px 6 - density 96 m/px Please see the attached video for a better understanding.
