roman.ligocki
After I upgraded Unigine to version 2.13.0, objects started to fall about 0.5m (unit) under texture of landscape terrain. Is there any parameter to offset (with vec3??) collision mesh? Link to comment
silent
Hi Roman, Do you have backed up project from 2.12? We would like to upgrade it on our side and see if we can reproduce the same behavior. If you have a backup - could you please send the data folder contents somewhere and give me a link for download? Right now I was unable to do it on my test projects. Thanks! roman.ligocki
I tested it on version 2.12 and there is also same problem, so it looks like my mistake. During import process of terrain I had to do something wrong. Link to comment
silent
You can also play with collision settings in object's parameters and tune the precision of the intersection Here is the dedicated paragraph about possible options that you can tweak: https://developer.unigine.com/en/docs/2.13/objects/objects/terrain/landscape_terrain/#intersections How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN Link to comment
roman.ligocki
No difference with max, min or mixed values. Link to comment
silent
I'm afraid without a test scene it's hard to say anything. If you can upload it somewhere - it would be great. Thanks! silent
Thanks! Already downloaded and reproduce. Strange thing that with newly created LandscapeTerrain there is no such issues. Will continue to debug further. How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN Link to comment
bmyagkov
Hello! This behavior caused of high value of detail's height and it's kind of our fall that we leave such a great numerical value here and we will reduce default settings in a future update. So, your issue will be easily fixed by decreasing height value at details settings, see attached video below. 2020-11-27_12-57-44.mp4 Intersection does not work with details, since it is used for such a small things like leaves, rocks and etc. Thanks! 1 Link to comment
