kovi001 Posted October 5, 2020 Share Posted October 5, 2020 I am a person who is using the unigine engine 2.7.2.1 version. I checked [embed media] at 3ds max, and exported fbx files. When I import it from the engine, it doesn't come out as the result I want. Only diffuse map is applied. I want the fbx file to come out with the reflection map applied. I attach the fbx file below. Can you help me? p.s If I want to produce similar results from the engine as 3ds max results, please advise me how to proceed. please! BT_RG.FBX Link to comment
thomalex Posted October 5, 2020 Share Posted October 5, 2020 Hello @jh7028 Reflection maps are not supported for import from FBX, you can read more about it in the FBX Import Guide (briefly: Diffuse, Normal/Bump, Specular and Light maps are supported). In UNIGINE, reflection maps are represented by cubemaps applied as an Environment Texture or a texture of an Environment Probe, you'll need to apply your reflection map manually. As far as I can see, your reflection map is cylindrical panorama, this type of cubemaps is supported by UNIGINE. Thank you! 2 Link to comment
