davide445
Testing a 3 DoF headset for 360 videos I noticed the VFX effects look extremelly flat, this is a screenshot where looks better than in the headset where just seems a picture attached to the ceiling I supppose being in fact billboard particles there is no way to return them better? Will make sense to tyr volumetric clouds inside the limited space I'm working on? Edited July 15, 2020 by davide445 Link to comment

davide445
Making more tests, attached a 4k 360 video where seems near the fire sim there is a cube effect, such as if the fire is enclosed in a reflecting cube. The color of the walls is changing near the fire in the central slot of the 360 projection. This effect it's not visible in standard 2D rendering. The smoke is always rendered flat. Created using the curved panorama 360 setting Video Grabber to render a .jpg sequence. 360_fire.mov Edited July 15, 2020 by davide445 Link to comment
