morbid Posted May 20, 2020 Share Posted May 20, 2020 Hello, Nothing special here, to be honest. You'll need a MeshClutter object and Impostor creator. These parameters have the biggest impact on performance: Visibility Distance. It's okay to keep high distance for impostors, lower values for geometry (MeshClutter) Density. It's simple. The higher density the "heavier" the forest will be. Step. Step is a size of a cell with grass or trees. Use lower values for every object with low visibility distance and higher step size for the objects with higher visibility distance (impostors) Same rules can be applied to the grass or any other object you're scattering with MeshClutter.
