[SOLVED] SSL error 40 preventing editor use (windows 10)

photo

Recommended Posts

On a new installation on current version of windows 10(64 bit) - I create a new project and click edit -

I get failed to connect to SDK Browser: SSL verification failed...

only action available exits editor

SDK browser is running, I am logged in.

Switching off all firewalls and malware/antivirus does not fix this

log shows message Error: SSL error 40 repeatedly

TCP view shows SDK browser is listening on port 33333

Please help as I really want to try out unigine!

Hello,

Usually SSL errors occur when you have incorrect date and and time or when the port that browser uses by default is busy.

By the way, don't you have goodsync installed? This application can disrupt SDK Browser's work:

If this doesn't help please attach browser log files from C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\UNIGINE_SDK_Browser.

Thanks!
