helmut.bressler
Hello, I have got an older project made in 2.5 SDK (Windows, DirectX11) where I'm struggling with a memory leak caused by the AppBorder plugin. (The leak itself is easy to see if you have more than 100 fps - just create an empty project and add the AppBorder plugin. The profiler should show an increasing number of Memory and System memory usage.) Given that the AppBorder plugin is available as source code and has been removed from the SDK for quite some time already, I think it is too much to hope for a bugfix. But before I dive into the source code, I just want to ask if anyone from the Unigine team has an idea where it is coming from. Thank you Helmut Link to comment
silent
Hi Helmut, Yeah, the 2.5 is pretty much outdated right now :) I've checked the changelogs and can't find anything related to the AppBorder memory leaks fixing, so I guess you probably will need to dig into it more seriously. silent
Helmut, Could you please try to check if this fixed version works as expected? You need to rebuild AppBorder plugin on your side.
