tolchinski.alexei
Hello. Projected light don't see hills from TerrainGlobal. Also, I tried to use setForceIntersection(1), but i have got feelings, that TerrainGlobal use only visible intersection. Is it normal? Version 2.7.2 Link to comment

morbid
Hello Alexey, The problem is in the light parameters. Projected Light + custom shape wouldn't work correctly with big visibility distances and such FOV values (100.5 degrees in your case). May I ask you to explain, what you're trying to do? Is it a specific lamp or a projector you're reproducing? Thanks. tolchinski.alexei
Hello. I tried to reduce light distance parametrs and reduce FOV, but result didn't change. I'm trying to use light projector with certain degree and it is very import for my task, that terrain global has got shadows from this light. Link to comment
morbid
Can you send us a test scene? Also, on your picture light ray is completely cut with a terrain. Where do you expect to see a shadow? UPD Or the bright part of terrain on the left is lit with light? Sorry, it's a bit unclear on the picture. Thanks. morbid
And another thing worth checking - shadow resolution. Try to increase it in the Projected Light parameters. tolchinski.alexei
Sorry for delay. Bright part on the left is light on terrain, yes. I didn't write accurately, ray cut with terrain, not shadow must be on the left part. project.zip Link to comment
