Different shadow distances for different types of objects

Hi,

I am wondering, if it is possible to cast different shadow distances for different kinds of objects? I am currently try to setup a demo, where wind energy plants are needed to cast their shadowing at furthering distances from the camera, than their surroundings (terrains, trees, e.g.)

My current approach was to setup another WorldLight to the current sun, but with different light masks. All objects in the world get their shadowing mask for the initial sun, where the energy plants get a different one. Next, I try do change the shadowing distances from the light sources, but without luck. Also, modifying the lights shadowing distances in general seems to have no effect at all. Is that an intended behavior?

Hi!
Right now you can not make different shadow distances for several world lights. But you can try to use projected light to imitate a second "sun" light. =)
In the future we will add shadow distance parameter per world light.
