Windows Mixed Reality

Is WMR supported with Unigine?  I'm sure it will work technically, but I was wondering about the controllers shown in the VR.  I see Oculus and Vive of course....

If they are not supported, what would it take to support them?  New Models...what scripting changes?

If this is something that could be done by a user great...ideally an update that would allow this out of the box would be great.   I'm seeing them more and more, easy to setup, less expensive and quite capable..especially for moving around in VR, tracking is quite good.

Hi Trey,

Current way to run Windows Mixed Reality is to install WMR for SteamVR: https://store.steampowered.com/app/719950/Windows_Mixed_Reality_for_SteamVR/

Here is some additional info: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5608-UPAH-6427

Yep, there is no other controller model available, but you can easily add it just as VivePad or OculusTouch controller already added. However, some programmers help will be required for sure to map some new buttons (if any).

Thanks!

Hi Silent,

I am also interested in running Unigine on a WMR headset.

Apart from maybe having to map the new buttons, would it be enough to just use the Steam plugin instead of the Oculus plugin when creating a project for the integration of the HMD, or would there be any more programming needed?

Best
pio

Same here, since I'm still waiting to know if I can get the Vive Cosmos or the Valve Index I'm starting to evaluate other options.

Seems the HP Reverb does have a very good hardware for enterprise VR even if with some problems with tracking.

Noone has currently tested any WMR headset with Unigine so to know how is working?
