2.7.3 new object orientation at import

Hello,

In 2.7.3 you changed the "default" orientation at import. I modeled a basic "3 axis" reference object (attached) in Blender and exported it as FBX with Blender export settings set as "FBX Unit scale, Forward = +Y; Up = +Z", which is the same new default settings as 2.7.3

When importing this fbx into Unigine, the object rotation is 0,0,0 but the mesh has been rotated 180 around Z.

Is it the expected behavior?

If I change the import setting to "Front axis=-Y", then the object orientation looks correct, but it makes me feel like the logic is reversed.

What am I missing?

Hi Amerio,

We are using FBX SDK 2019 to import FBX files. It reports us that your attached model has Z - up, -Y - front axes. FBX Review app that we sometimes using to verify some FBX files also shows us identical picture:

So, everything is working as it should be for the attached FBX file.

Thanks!
