sanghaeng.lee
When I ganerate an image with my ECW file, a cache file of 20 ~ 30 Gbytes per ECW file is created. So I can not create Terrain textures at once. The size of my ECW files is from 500 megabytes to 1.5 gigabytes. It seems that a lot of lod related files are created in the cache folder. Is there a way to reduce the cache file or apply ECW files one by one? Link to comment
silent
Hi Lee, Unfortunately, there is no way to generate a terrain one-by-one. You will have to use all the tiles at once. How did you measure the cache size? Landscape tool shows only approximate cache size, it can be actually smaller. Thanks! morbid
Hi @sanghaeng.lee, landscape cache size depends on source file type, ts size and compression. There's no way to control cache size, however, landscape will predict the estimated cache size. I can suggest changing the cache folder in Landscape tool, it can be done in Generate window or in "Output files location" parameter. https://developer.unigine.com/en/docs/2.7.2/editor2/landscape_tool/create_terrain#output_cache How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN Link to comment
