t.coursey
I love how when you drag an object from your library it snaps to objects in the world. Is there a quick key or something that can be turned on so that when a CLONE (shift drag) is made the object snaps to objects then too? Once I have many of my assets in the world I don't want to go and hunt for them in the library. So I will shift drag a world member that is already placed. However the snapping to objects is not present during that operation. Thanks. Link to comment
silent
Hi Trey, To enable snapping by grid (it's very useful when you have asset-kit with identical sizes - like pipes, fences and so on) you need to press Shift + Z or press following button inside Editor: Behavior that you observe when you drag object from asset browser to the scene is also snapping by grid (it's accidently turning on, so it's simply a bug). We have plan to improve snapping - in 2.8 we will add snap by bound box and couple of new placement features :) Thanks!
