trey.coursey
Wanting to create a world and then do some cinematic animation sequences. Brand new to the engine, just downloaded the trial yesterday. Really like the way the GI and other rendering systems work compared to others I've tried. We normally use Unity, but it's much harder to get some looks that we achieved in the first day of Unigine! Will want to record these sequences somehow too if possible...other than screen grab. Link to comment
morbid
Hi Trey, the tool you're looking for is Videograbber, but it's not included in Entertainment version, only in Engineering and Sim: https://unigine.com/en/get-unigine. The good news is that in 2.7.2 (July) it would be available in all SDK versions. Thanks! So this will allow a user/developer to enable as many quality settings as they wish, and have this tool wait for the frame to finish rendering and then save that FRAME of animation. Giving us excellent quality for saved clips...while allowing us to reduce quality in some areas as needed for real time playback/experience, correct? Link to comment
morbid
Exactly, video grabber allows you to create a sequence of frames with desired resolution and render settings.
