helmut.bressler Posted May 28, 2018 Share Posted May 28, 2018 Hello, neither 'render_show_cascades 1' nor 'Helpers->Show Shadow Cascades' is working in our projects. (It was working in 2.6.1.1. When switching on the cascades visualisation the first time, usually I'm observing a small lag (due to shader compilation most likely), which I think I haven't noticed in 2.7) Is there a simple fix for that? We are using Windows 7 to 10 and DirectX11 as renderer. Thank you and cheers, Helmut Link to comment

Unfortunately, there is no easy workaround (engine sources needs to be changed). Thanks! Btw, as I'm working now on Shadow map settings, I encountered another tiny issue in the 2.7 Release: Tracker parameter node.light.shadowOffset maps to a non-existing method of the Light class (setShadowOffset(), getShadowOffset()), so it should be removed from the data/core/systems/tracker/parameters/node.parameters file.
