siddhesh.jambhavadekar
Hello, I studied your new Super position benchmark, and i found that you have used light maps and normal maps for most of the objects in the scene. Can you tell me from which software have you created the normal maps from ..?? is it from 3d coat..? When i texture a model in 3d coat and export it in Unigine i get all the maps but the normal maps are always blank,I m missing some fundamental over here. Also where have you created the baked light maps from .?? which software. If i would get the work flow of content creation you did for Super position benchmark it will make my life hell easier. Thank you Link to comment
cryunreal
Hello!Yes, we used normal maps and prebaked ambient acclusion maps for props in Superposition. You need to bake normal maps and ambient occlusion maps from highpoly to lowpoly using 3ds max/maya/xnormal etc. Also you can use 3d-coat for baking of ambient occlusion for lowpoly without highpoly (Texture -> Calculate Occlusion) and draw you own normal map using Depth parameter of brush.
