[SOLVED]Cannot add .smesh file in engine

Hi,

 

i have exported demon character to .smesh file, in Resource Editor can it open, but when i try it add to engine, engine stop working, no error in log file.

 

Can you check why cannot be added, also i have some other model with same problem.

There are some warnings with this model when you export it into 3Ds Max 2014.

Is there any warnings or errors with other problematic models?

That error I get from 30% of fbx file that i have succesfull imported to Unigine.

 

The other model with same problem have no error or warning.

 

What common they have is the other model have 179 bones, demon have 162 bones.

It would be very helpful if you can send us a problematic model without errors and warnings.

It will help us to get to the root of the problem faster.

I'm afraid that both models don't satisfy the limitations for bones per surface.

Yes, I'm afraid so.

Other good reason to leave DX9 and garbage support :)

 

Meanwhile we made workaround, we split mesh to more surfaces. Not nice, but works.
