ulf.schroeter Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 Problem At the moment LightWorld last shadow split produce a hard shadow edge at shadow distance start. This hard edge and sudden shadowing by objects reaching shadow range ("shadow popping") is quite visible especially if the player is moving at higher speeds. Proposal Smooth fade-in of shadow darkening on last shadow split from outer edge (shadow intensity = 0%) to some inner distance from outer split border (shadow intensity = 100%). This should hide shadow border quite effectivly. Link to comment
