When trying to export maya skinned-mesh (more than 64 bones) we recieved an error: // Error: file: P:/Programs/maya2009/scripts/others/MeshSkinnedExport.mel line 54: // A window whith export options does not appear. (We work in Maya 2009) Does any one faced this kind of problem? Thanks in advance! Link to comment
Guest extaliones Posted October 11, 2010 Share Posted October 11, 2010 The GPU skinning has a limitation of 4 bones per vertex and ca. 64 unique bones per surface, which is usually sufficient.
